I don’t know why you’re here, yet. But here, we are.

Mike Tanner

Mike Tanner

So who am I? Well, I’m a full time stay at home father of two who has spent the last five years growing a digital agency in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In my “spare time” I read everything I can get my hands on, listen to summaries of anything I don’t have time for, listen to any podcast that I think I can learn something from, bend myself into strange positions on a yoga mat, and play board games at least once a week.

I do these things because I love them and because I’ve crafted a life around doing the things that I love. And I do this because I want to help people do the same. It is not an easy process. It is not a painless process. It is a process.

I’m passionate about communities and about collaboration and about building people up. If you’re passionate about the same things, I’d love to connect.

So what do I do?

I provide guidance and support for individuals looking to organize their life in a more meaningful way and for organizations interested in helping their team grow on an individual basis. For some clients, this means a new job, for others it means changing the way they approach life at home. For organizations, this often means helping establish clear goals and responsibilities where the waters may currently be a bit murky.

Whatever the case, my purpose in this relationship is to meet you where you are and help you travel to where you want to be. I promise that it’s not nearly as mystical as it sounds.

I help tackle the big things in life by coming at them carefully and methodically and establishing that it’s all about Really Little Wins.

Ready? Steady?

Now you know what we do and you probably know what you need. If you’re ready to get started, click on the link below to get in touch and start working towards a solution.

What In The Hell Do We Do Now?

That’s totally up to you…

If you’ve gone through all this information and you think “that sounds interesting, but I need more,” check out the blog, or details about the book, or read some of my testimonials from clients I’ve worked with.

And if that’s still not enough, reach out. Ask questions. Whatever you need to do to figure out what’s next, for you, do it…now.

Do You Offer a Free Consult?

Unfortunately, no. Or in your case, fortunately. Here’s what I’ve found. Those free consults and free webinars and free master classes are basically just an extended sales pitch. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. That’s fine.

But I want to dig in. Deep and quick. And in order for that to work, it requires that we’re both committed to the cause.

How Do I Know This Will Work?

Oh, you definitely don’t. There are a few reasons that it might not work but it all boils down to, “you’re not ready”. Maybe that manifests in the idea that you set unrealistic goals. Maybe that manifests in the idea that you don’t follow through with the actual process. Maybe that means you don’t want to pay the bill.

That’s all fine. Those are your decisions. I don’t kick your butt into submission. I show you a way to get to where you want to go. But that’s on you. I know this CAN work because I’ve seen it work. You can hear from clients who this has worked for, but when it comes down to it all I can say is that this is a method that helps people get to where they want to go. It’s not a bus or a plane. I don’t piggy-back you. You’ve got to put in the hours.

What Makes You The Expert?

Well, expert is a stretch but I’ve spent the last half decade dedicating my life to changing the way I do things. Prior to this I spent the previous decade of my life managing people in a variety of roles and helping them develop their own paths in life.

The system that I’ve built over the last several years has been based on some scientific evidence, a lot of reflection and some good old fashioned experimentation.

I don’t recommend people do anything that I’m not doing myself.

When Can We Start?

Ostensibly, now.

Depending on my current bookings, we’re typically able to get started within about two weeks. That’s two weeks for us to arrange a time that’s convenient to meet and also two weeks for you to get your proverbial shit together.

Why Don't I Just Buy Your Book?

Why not do both?

But seriously.

Everything that I base my coaching on is in the book. Everything. The process is there. But what coaching provides is an opportunity for support. Sometimes it’s hard to go at it on your own, even with a damn fine book, and that’s where I come in.

Also, buy my book.
